Abstract (De)
As the world gets more and more complex, purposeful leadership get ever more important. Prof. Dr. Timo Meynhardt proposes a model that focuses on societal value contribution, driven by a strong sense of purpose.
Timo Meynhardt co-developed the Leipzig Leadership Model which aims to provide a purpose-oriented framework for leadership. It basically shifts the grounds by arguing that good leadership is primarily about a contribution towards the greater good. In his work, an organization’s societal wealth creation is captured conceptually and examined empirically as a contribution to the common good (public value). Meynhardt attempts to answer the question regarding public value of businesses, public authorities, and non-governmental organizations. This talk was given at a TEDx event.
