Government goes digital

E-government and its newer form, smart government, is part of a larger industry: administrations are reforming themselves, buying IT solutions from companies, seeking advice, having their own communications, mobilising their citizens and finding private companies to finance public services. All this requires a new way of thinking in the administration, but also in the private sector. Leadership is required. Without leadership, the dynamic activities will not be able to find
any stability. Sustainability is not only an ecological but also an organizational concern.
