A Model for Measuring Airport Competitiveness: The Case of Zurich Airport

Item Type Newspaper
Abstract

Airports play a crucial role in the attractiveness of business locations as so-called transportation hubs. They are necessary to foster commerce activities and to satisfy the commuting needs of the modern population. Unfortunately, they also cause various damages such as air pollution and noise. This leads to a trade-off between growth and damage to the population.
