Change Agency und Diversity Management

Kurzfassung Change agency in organizational change literature has so far been conceptualized as either an outcome of individual trait, skill and personality or even completely lacking the individual. Drawing on the theories of Butler and Bourdieu, we are moving beyond that tradition. Judith Butler and late Pierre Bourdieu are two preeminent scholars whose contributions to our understanding of human agency have hardly been considered together. We believe in the merit of transcending the disciplinary divide that separated works of these two scholars, in order to arrive at a more comprehensive understanding of change agency, thereby overcoming the reductionist tendencies of the change agency literature.
