Description
Starting in April 2003, this project analyses the individual employment effects of further vocational training (Förderung beruflicher Weiterbildung, FbW) in Germany. The evaluation is based on rich micro data stemming from several data sources including the individual employment history, the benefit payment register, the jobseeker register and the program participant register. The project focusses on heterogenous treatments since the data provide rich information that allow to take account of heterogeneity not only with respect to treatments but also with respect to programme participants. Members of this research group headed by Prof. Michael Lechner are Ruth Miquel, Conny Wunsch and Stephan Wiehler. Additionally, there is a collaboration with Prof. Bernd Fitzenberger from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University Frankfurt/Main.
