Description
Digitalization has profoundly changed our societies and is poised to trigger a radical shift in how organizations are managed. The objective of this project is to investigate how digitalization is transforming management, in particular the aspect of (financial) governance and leadership within management. This transition towards the “digital manager” redefines managerial decision-making in core entrepreneurial and organizational activities. Automated algorithms could support – or eventually replace – human decision-making. Therefore, a clear understanding of these technological capabilities is necessary and it is on this basis that we study the impact on society, organizations and management practice.
