Abstract
The current economic situation and constantly changing market environments and increasing disruptions are putting supply chains world-wide to the test. Factors such as geopolitical tensions, increasing economic pressure & vulnerability, rising environmental and social awareness, and confrontation with ethical factors lead to the need for supply chains to continuously change. To keep supply chains competitive in the future, the concept of supply chain viability is becoming increasingly important. Supply chains need to be resilient and sustainable and at the same time use the potential of digitalization to be able to survive in the long term.
