Abstract
This paper focuses on organizational communcation processes, uses a practicse-based approach as theoretical lens and relies on qualitative data wich is interpreted from a constructionist perspective. The research question is: How do organizations enact new media practices? From our empirical results, we develop a model of organizational media choice. This model contains a relational, a process and a content dimension. For effective media use, an organization has to make a media decision for each dimension. With this paper, we contribute to the discussion about the organizational impact of communication media respectively the consequences of the mediatization of organizations
