For a typical drug manufacturing plant, the successful implementations of Lean and Six Sicma practices could result in estimated annual savings of EUR 3500 in mainenance costs and EUR 2600 in quality cots per employee. Unfortunately, few managers are aware of what they can do to benefit from these opportunity.
