Description
While robots are widely used in manufacturing and other industries, there is still major skepticism in healthcare as to their impact on work patterns and economic benefits. The purpose of this project is to measure - using different perspectives - the impact of service robotics in healthcare organizations, such as hospitals. The solution approach is hereby twofold. First of all the project shall provide first evidence about the strengths and improvement potentials of this technology in the context of healthcare organizations. Second, the most important performance indicators as well as suitable business model alternatives for the robot operation shall be identified and evaluated. With this two-step-approach the project lays a solid foundation for the further development of services and value propositions.
