Description
The annual oikos Young Scholars Entrepreneurship Academy (formerly known as oikos PhD Summer Academy) provides international PhD students in the field of management and sustainability a platform to present and discuss their ongoing research projects with fellow students and senior faculty.
The sessions are moderated. Feedbacks are given by peer students and internationally known and well-reputed professors.
An outstanding extracurricular programme is integral part of the concept.
Feedback 2011:
By far the best academic experience of my life. I feel like I truly have a support network now- and that I will keep in touch with the participants for years to come.
Jocelyn M. Leitzinger, University of Wisconsin - Madison, USA
Fantastic, if I can sum up in a word. The group was open and friendly but also very informed and constructive when it came to academic feedback. Great professors and discussions.
Neil Thompson, University of Utrecht, The Netherlands
The topic-mix, geographical mix and academic diversity was great and innovative ideas came out very well. Great personal feedback and a very accessible faculty. Thank you!
Raja Singaram, University of Twente, The Netherlands
A wonderful gathering. The interactive setting provided a perfect way of exchanging ideas and getting constructive comments on our research.
Hossein Eslami, National University of Singapore
Perfect. A truly memorable experience.
Eeva-Lotta Apalahti, Aalto School of Economics, Finland
