Sales-based instore logistics optimization

abstract In very high turnover retail settings, instore logisitcs can greatly gain in efficiency by integrating intraday demand fluctuations in labor and task scheduling. The University of St.Gallen's Chair of logitics management implements such a concept at two pilot stores with a Eurpoean retailer.
