The scientific advisory board argues for the further development of transparency regarding technology. This demands an orientation towards impact, considering the reduction of CO2-emissions and the use of renewable energy, for example, rather than an orientation towards technology. The board also appeals for the implementation of several major showcase projects, which have in the meantime been concluded, and for the critical consideration of infrastructural as well as institutional aspects. Preconditions for the promotion of Germany as a leading market and leading supplier include swift international standardisation, the integration of uniform mobility concepts and a careful approach in using monetary incentives. With respect to the use of non-monetary incentives – e.g. certain privileges – the board pleads for balanced tests, especially considering possible counter-productive effects, e.g. when approving bus lanes. In setting up the loading infrastructure, the separate use of private, semi-public and public installations is requested, the financing of which, however, should not (only) be a public task.deElektromobilität: Herausforderungen bei der Entwicklung der Elektromobilität in Deutschlandjournal article
