The client, a major hydro power producer in Central America, was faced with demanding challenges in the course of a growing market liberalization. By the means of the DSS developed, the client has been placed in a position to act successfully in a situation of growing uncertainties (system load, spot market prices) and a fierce oligilopistic competition.
