Description
The Joint Air Transportation Competence Center for Security (JATCC-Security) offers a neutral platform for the different parties involved in air freight to reconcile the public's interest in air cargo security with economic interests.
The increasing number of air cargo regulations impairs the commercial success of both exporting and importing companies and the aviation industry. A large proportion of these regulations leads to substantial additional expenditures. In addition, many experts judge these regulative initiatives as insufficient in enhancing air cargo security.
The Joint Air Transportation Competence Center for Security (JATCC-Security) is a competent provider of expert knowledge and consulting services in connection with all current and future air cargo security legislation and regulative measures for:
- private companies,
- academia,
- public authorities, and
- politics.
Topics include:
- Development and exchange of best-practice models for the implementation of newly created air cargo security regulation.
- Estimating the economic impact of new air cargo regulation.
- Conducting risk assessments (cost-benefit relationship) for new air cargo regulations.
- Identification and legal discussion of financing the additional costs incurred by the new air cargo regulations on the air freight industry.
