    Panel 1: THE INNOVATION TRANSFORMATION IN SPACE: Where Are We in 2024? - Understanding the profound transformation of the Space industry - The role of agencies, start-ups, access to markets and capital and how those factors compare to innovation frameworks and ecosystems between Europe, North America and Asia - First hand information and insights into challenges and opportunities for the transforming space industry Panel 2: THE INNOVATION TRANSFORMATION IN SPACE: Why Are Space Economics Changing? • Looking back into the success factors of the NewSpace Economy, its development over time, the key players • New role of agencies in this emerging trillion dollar market • Understanding the transformation from an innovation economy perspective and upcoming changes for the space industry Workshop: NewSpace Executive Dialogue Gain insights into the concepts that made NewSpace emerge over the last years and contribute to current research to understand even better the underlying frameworks of "innovatisation" in space. The University of St.Gallen in Switzerland has been commissioned to get practitioner views on strengths and weaknesses of space innovation and public-private partnerships, and thus give more voice to NewSpace to improve innovation policy. It is in the frame of major research work for European Space Agency and Switzerland, with global ramifications. Handpicked executives will exchange on NewSpace innovation with thought leaders and peers, in an exclusive setting. They also get access to our insights. During the workshop get inspired by a 20-min summary screening of an inspiring and brand-new documentary ‘FORTITUDE’ created by award-winning filmmaker Torsten Hoffmann as he meets leaders in the emerging space industry, including policymakers from the United Nations, renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, leading venture capitalists, established technology companies, as well as ambitious start-ups, astronauts and many more. We successfully ran Executive Dialogues at several recent conferences; the series is run with world-class innovation economist Prof. Dominique Foray, and has included NASA Chief Economist Dr. Alex MacDonald, ex-DLR head Prof. Pascale Ehrenfreund, SpaceX-NASA specialist Dr. Dan Rasky, VPs from primes, C-levels from start-ups, and the head of the ESA BICs.
