Description
This project is a cooperation between ETH Zürich and the University of St.Gallen. Participating researchers at the University of St.Gallen are Prof. Dr. Dietmar Grichnik, Asst. Prof. Dr. Charlotta Sirén, and Henrik Wesemann. At ETH Zürich, the project is led by Prof. Dr. Georg von Krogh, Senior Researcher Dr. Vivianna Fang He, and Zoe Jonassen.

The objective of this three-year research project is to improve our knowledge of learning in new venture teams. These learning processes are important because they allow entrepreneurs to adjust to their highly dynamic environment and teach them how to cope with problems instead of repeating them. While some studies address this topic, almost all existing research focuses on the individual level and neglects knowledge creation in new venture teams. A team level perspective is especially important given that new ventures are usually founded in teams and, as a result, learning takes place in a social setting.
