Abstract
This dissertation contributes to existing literature in empirical corporate finance and corporate governance by empirically investigating three research questions related to the long-term performance of IPOs, consequences of data errors for measuring corporate governance, and the diversity of golden parachutes.

Die vorliegende Dissertation widmet sich drei empirischen Forschungsfragen im Zusammenhang mit der langfristigen Performance von Börsengängen (IPOs), den Folgen von Datenfehlern bei der empirischen Messung von Unternehmensführung (Corporate Governance) und der Vielfalt in der Gestaltung von Abfindungszahlungen für Spitzenmanager (Golden Parachutes).
