Abstract
We are at a turning point: in the next few years, Switzerland and Germany will decide what role cannabis will play in society in the future. Who will be allowed to use the plant and for what purpose, and who will be allowed to benefit from it?
“Zukunft Cannabis” (The Future of Cannabis) provides an overview of the most important questions that need to be answered in order to change the way society deals with cannabis.
The book is aimed at the interested public, politicians, journalists and, above all, social scientists, to demand, provide and use the independent knowledge that is urgently needed for a successful societal way of managing cannabis.
“Zukunft Cannabis” (The Future of Cannabis) provides an overview of the most important questions that need to be answered in order to change the way society deals with cannabis.

Wir befinden uns an einem Wendepunkt: In den nächsten Jahren wird in der Schweiz und Deutschland entschieden, welche Rolle Cannabis in der Gesellschaft künftig zukommt. Wer darf die Pflanze wozu verwenden, wer darf von ihr profitieren?
«Zukunft Cannabis» liefert eine Übersicht über die wichtigsten Fragen, die es für den Wandel des gesellschaftlichen Umgangs mit Cannabis zu beantworten gilt.
Das Buch richtet sich an die interessierte Öffentlichkeit, an Politiker:innen, Journalist:innen und vor allem Sozialwissenschaftler:innen, das unabhängige Wissen, das für einen gelingenden gesellschaftlichen Umgang mit Cannabis dringend benötigt wird, einzufordern, bereitzustellen und zu verwenden.

« Zukunft Cannbis » (« L'avenir du cannabis ») fournit une vue d'ensemble des principales questions auxquelles il faut répondre pour changer le rapport de la société au cannabis.
Le livre s'adresse au public intéressé, aux politiciens, aux journalistes et surtout aux chercheurs en sciences sociales, afin qu'ils revendiquent, mettent à disposition et utilisent les connaissances indépendantes dont ils ont un besoin urgent pour une gestion sociale réussie du cannabis.
