Abstract
Over a decade ago, CArtAgO was introduced as a framework to implement first-class application environments in multi-agent systems (MAS), based on the Agents & Artifacts (A&A) conceptual model. In this paper, we describe a recent major extension, introducing the notion of conceptual spaces to better support domain-driven modelling and development of complex distributed environments, which can be exploited by cognitive agents working at the knowledge level.
