Abstract
The article addresses some of the challenges to be faced by foreign suppliers in the Chinese logistics market. The 11th Five-year Plan of China for the service industries will focus on transportation and modern logistics development. According to the authors, the logistics infrastructure in China is characterized by fragmented supply and distribution systems, insufficient technology application and many bureaucratic obstacles.
