Abstract
This newsletter of the São Paulo based Impact Investing Platform that is led by the Latin America Hub of the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland contains a series of five interviews with leading doers and thinkers on Impact Investing in Brazil.
Placed between traditional philanthropy and socially responsible investments (SRIs), Impact Investing offers new opportunities to fuel growth in social enterprises enabling them to enhance the impact they generate. But Impact Investing alone will not solve our social and environmental problems. It can only be one, although important, component and we must stay clear of unrealistic expectations. Furthermore, we face the dilemma that we need more money to fuel growth in social enterprises, but we have to be very selective when it comes to the motivation this money presents itself with.
