Abstract
We identify the most established indicators for surveying logistics markets and analyze their comparability. Shortcomings in logistics market surveys (LMSs) with respect to indicators and methods are identified. Rigor and relevance of published LMSs are critically examined. An outline for surveying logistics markets is given.
